Блоки before(:all) в RSpec не запускаются внутри транзакции, поэтому ваш пользователь остается в тестовой базе данных после обработки всего набора тестов.

Рассмотрите возможность использования блока after(:all), когда вам нужно вручную очищать соответствующие таблицы, или использования database_cleaner, который вы можете настроить для обрезать таблицы перед запуском теста.

Я запустил database_cleaner один раз и получил много предупреждений об уже запущенных транзакциях... После комментирования (и замены before(:all) на before(:each)) все работает, как и ожидалось! - ibash; 04.03.2012

Синтаксис FactoryGirl для create:

Factory(:user)

FactoryGirl.create(:user)

Я подозреваю, что вызов create(:user) не делает того, что вы думаете. Обновите let до:

    user = Factory(:user)
    user.confirm!
    login_as(user, :scope => :user)
    user
  }

Обратите внимание, что let будет вызываться каждый раз, когда это необходимо для теста.
