Как, по дяволите, да инсталирам jruby-openssl

Според Не мога да инсталирам релси с jRuby Опитах jruby -S gem install jruby-openssl, но получавам същото . Един коментар (този) звучи така, сякаш би трябвало да помогне, но не съм достатъчно Руби, за да разбера какво казва той, че трябва да направя .

Освен това цялата тема е от 2011 г. и трябва да предположа, че нещо се е променило оттогава. Някакви следи?
