Embed работи във Firefox и Safari, но не и в Internet Explorer 8

Имам флаш-базирана реклама, която се показва/скрива въз основа на някакъв javascript. Работи във Firefox, Safari, Chrome ... но не и в Internet Explorer 8. Това е за дарения за организации с нестопанска цел по време на празничния сезон, така че всяка помощ би била чудесна.
